what my father just said has given me a reason to survive together with my unborn child . Though the pain is too much,I need to hold in. Both I and the baby need to survive at all cost.
I don’t know what I finally opened my eyes.
“Dad,are you really going to give us your permission?”that’s the first thing I said.
“What are you talking about?”Micheal asked.
“Micheal,give me your hand”dad said and Micheal did dad took my hand and out it into Micheal’s hand.
“As a father who’ve failed to make his only child happy. I am hereby giving you permission to love my daughter. Please do what I failed as a father,make her happy day by day”he said.
“I don’t understand”Micheal looked so confused
“Micheal,I trust in you. Take care of courtney in my place,she is all that I have”he said and tears could not help but stream down my eyes. Finally,after five years,dad has finally gave his permission.
“Courtney,what is your father talking about?”Micheal asked me in a trembling voice.
I just smiled at him in tears.
“Is he for real?”he asked again.
Of course its hard to believe.
I sat up straight and hugged him tightly.
“You did well”I said while parting her like a little baby.
“Mr Roche,I am sorry for everything that I’ve done”dad said while kneeling before him.
“No,you don’t need to kneel down. Stand up,you did it all for your daughter and I don’t blame you”Mr Roche said.
“So,are going to be in laws soon?”dad said.
“Guess so”Micheal’s dad said with a smile.
This is the happiest moment in my life.

I will be going back to the States soon,my time to stay here is up. But I cannot bare to live James in prison. He also loved Courtney but the way he expressed his love,was what was wrong.
“What are you doing here?”he asked me.
“I come to visit a friend,am I not allowed to do so?”I asked.
“Just go straight to the point”he said.
“I am dropping all the charges I pressed in request for your arrest”I said.
“Why?”he asked
“Being disowned by your father is more painful than being in prison. I’ve now got the permission from Mr Andrea and I cannot love courtney freely knowing that someone is suffering in here coz of us. I want to live happily with courtney”I said.
“Are you mocking me?”he said.
“Nope,thanks for teaching me how to be strong. It’s all thanks to you that now I now have a responsibility ”
